Hi James,

I'm curious -- how do you store all the data in your databases? Is it a custom programmed database or do you use something like a commercial SQL database server? I was thinking of storing some of the data on my hard disk at home for running some scans etc but thought I should find out what other people more experienced in handling stock data are doing. Based on my naive calculations, I seem to want about a gigabyte of space (more like 750 mb) just to store basic data in my harddisk. How big are your databases?

Thanks,

-Atin

Okay, thanks.

I was starting to wonder to the point that I was no longer quite certain if I understood the basic method involved.
