RE ISLD, am I just reading the news wrong or is it just that ISLD is buying a ton of Sun servers (for $170 million)? So by spending that money, ISLD market cap should go up by $1.7 billion?

Vodafone surprised at Mannesmann valuations
LONDON, Dec 8 (Reuters) - British-based cellphone giant Vodafone AirTouch Plc said on Wendesday it was surprised at what it called ''the ever increasing valuations'' its takeover target Mannesmann AG was placing on itself.

Responding to the German group's demand that any bid would have to top 300 euros per share in cash, Vodafone -- which has launched the world's largest hostile bid valued at 274 euros -- noted Mannesmann had offered little justification for its price.

''The question that Mannesmann consistently fails to address is what it can do better by itself than with Vodafone AirTouch,'' said Chief Executive Chris Gent in a statment.
