Why, Coby, your use of the word "lecture" surprises me! I have never presumed to be in a position to lecture anyone. I do try to maintain a certain tone of civility and try to encourage it in others. I try to do so out of basic good manners and because when a disagreement becomes personal and nasty, it is very difficult to learn other viewpoints and think about them. I am far from a perfect being and do not always live up to my own standards; I acknowledge my imperfection readily. Postings such as Daniel's to Lizzie about "ferret sport" I find offensive. Don't you?
