OSHA Revises Directives Regarding Bloodborne Pathogens

LAKEWOOD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 10, 1999--Joseph Sanpietro, President of Medi-Hut Co., Inc. (OTC
BB:MHUT) has announced today that on November 5, 1999 the Occupational Health and Safety Administration mandated new
directives regarding bloodborne pathogens that will help minimize serious health risks associated by workers who are exposed to
blood and other potentially infectious materials.

Secretary of Labor Alex M. Herman stated, ''We must do everything that we can to protect workers who may be at risk of exposure to bloodborne diseases.'' He
went on to state, ''This directive doesn't place new requirements on employers, but it does recognize and emphasize the advances made in medical technology. It
also reminds employers that they must use readily-available technology in their safety and health programs.''

These directives will further insure the safety of all health care workers and patients in all fifty states who are risking their health and lives by using conventional
medical devices. Joseph A. Sanpietro, President of Medi-Hut Co., Inc. stated, ''These directives come in a time where new technology, that has been incorporated
into our Safety Syringe, will help to convert the health care facilities into a safer environment by reducing the amount of accidental needle sticks associated with the
use of medical sharps.''
