Sure the Three lost sleep, but Lokey lost face. And credibility. Not to belittle the loss of sleep, it must have been hard for them, but if i had the choice of losses here, i'd rather lose the sleep.

Funny thing was and still is - Lokey and his wire service were not originally the butt of the joke, investor credulity and the whole structure of the way news is disseminated and received were the butts. BW turned it inwards, made themselves the specific butt with their petulant slapp suit reaction. Somebody correct me if that's wrong, but i don't think it is, eh .... cheers

$100K is not a big deal to BW, and I doubt Lokey lost any sleep over this

Well, if Lokey wasn't concerned about money, then why did he file a motion with the court to ask for reimbursement of the $40,000 BW spent to defend against our anti-SLAPP motion? If money was not a big deal then why did BW immediately beg us to settle the moment deep pockets Safeco entered the picture? If money was not a big deal then why didn't he offer to settle for $1 if we all kissed his butt?

And, don't worry, I very much value your support. I just can't resist "setting the record straight", as best I can, of course. ;^)
