Ericsson, Microsoft join forces on mobile Internet
STOCKHOLM, Dec 8 (Reuters) - Swedish telecoms group Ericsson on Wednesday announced a strategic partnership with U.S. software giant Microsoft (NasdaqNM:MSFT - news) to help people stay in touch via the Internet and mobile phones while on the move.

Following a trade suspension in Ericsson shares, the Swedish company announced it was setting up a joint venture with Microsoft to market ''end-to-end solutions for the wireless Internet'' in the rapidly evolving high-tech and telecoms industries.
