Jim, Well Intel certainly has a bit of infamy to live down right now. Like any bad craftsman thay are laying blame all over the place, except where they should. it may be that this is not over yet. I suspect that soon all memory will have to be pre-installed on the mobos by Intel and some memmakers will not pass muster and will bear a hate for Intel forever. Now what if the same problems also affect the Sony product?
Bad for Rambus too.
This whole fiasco is the best thing that has ever happened to AMD and looks like the worst thing to ever happen to Intel, ever.
