Hi John: Haven't heard elmer or paul's evaluation of the possibility of 1.2 million Athlons and $0.17 to $0.50 eps for 99Q$...They both seem to be very quiet wrt their projected earnings for 99Q4...as the Intel/AMD ratio of stock prices moves relentlessly towards parity. Hey elmer and paul, will it take until 99Q4 AMD earnings release before the ratio is less than 2/1??? Wonder if INTC will still be above $76 when AMD gets to $38? Since the introduction of the Athlon, even with all INTC's new product intro's (ROTFL), this ratio has declined from 4/1 to 2.5/1. Hope you guys switched out of all your INTC into AMD when the ratio was 4/1. After all, the Athlon's comparative features surely would have tipped you both off!
