Richard, trading not really puzzling..we are just not used to seeing trading desks working large buy orders in Ampex and doing it with finesse so as to not put up the price.. To put it another way, its the big old bass that tugs ever so gently on your line

RCH, <<I find today's action very puzzling.>> Me, too, at first. We normally get a selloff early on the second day after a big announcement. Today the price tried a couple times to go lower, but fresh buying kept popping the price back up. I attribute the strength to the imminent debut of iSTYLE, with its promised new technology. A lot of the usual scalpers may be holding off taking short term profits because they don't want the train to leave in a hurry without them if iSTYLE is a hit. The game has change a little.
