Interesting comment on CNBC

Floor traders stating basically anything under their 200 day moving average is a loser and is being SOLD! (tax selling time)

Rambus' 200 DMA is around $79-80.

To the Rambus tech gurus,

I'm still a bit confused about the benefits of RDRAM.
I'm looking to buy a new system for the office with 733MHZ PIII (133 front side bus) coupled with - RIMM, 384K,PC800,400Mhz,ECC,2X64+2X128 Rambus memory.

I have been told however, that I would not benefit from this extra fast memory because the bus is too slow and will cause a bottleneck of data. Is this the case ?

I followed this thread for a while when RMBS tanked from triple digits and I thought that the bottleneck problem was only related to the El Camino chip.

Can anyone enlighten me ?
