A small announcement, on topic (not that we have one, here): I've left 3Com. No complaints... just an offer (from a non-public company) that I couldn't turn down. IPO, maybe, in a year or a bit more. Under the terms of the various non-disclosure agreements, I probably can't remember what 3Com makes... but I can still drive past and count the cars in the parking lots. And I do remember that I have a golf shirt that says "3Com CDMA Data" on it. I have until 2/11/00 to exercise my options, so I expect you all to push hard for the stock price until then. I'm keeping my Employee Stock Purchase shares until the Palm spinoff, at least; that's going it be exciting. I still love my Palm Pilot, er, Palm. Somehow, that doesn't sound right. Earnings 12/20, right? We can now go back to talking about horses. Dick
