CNBC & Pissani is alluding to the mysterious change in sentiment on the API/DOE #'s

... folks; try a "coordinated" wink & a nod - good ole' fashioned inside Wall Steet run the stops - shakeout; then we all rush back in together, play.

Jim L; I disagree on we ignored "bad news" - there was NO bad news in actuality imho. This was a near manipulative shakeout - and that Bloomberg release was the final spin to the positive & reality side of the sheer pressure that increasing demand and shrinking supply will have on crude - and OPEC "AINT" easing any time soon...

VPI baby ! - see ya at $30 crude.... hoooo hahhhh~

... now , what did I say about celebrating too early (VBG) ?

We must have something turn up positive with Nat GAs - then we really can celebrate imho...

George, re Capex, I think this article is a must read.

oilandgasonline.com{6EB4C10A-A1A5-11D3-9A73-00A0C9C83AFB}&Bucket=Latest+Headlines

I'm sure you recall that an oil analyst had said he was gloomy on OSX prospects due to the fact that he was only projecting an 8% increase in capex by the majors this year. His analyses is proving to be flawed in the extreme.

The GOM WILL be verrrryyyy busy, very busy indeed. The new season should open with a bang. New contracts are not far away. With this kind of reserve depletion the US - MUST - I repeat - MUST - find and produce more oil and gas. We simply have no other choice.
