The EIP market is spawning a number of EIP-focused vendors as well as attracting a lot of notice from leading business intelligence (BI) and data warehousing vendors. Brio, Broadvision, Hummingbird, IBM, Microsoft, and Sybase are just some of the vendors that view EIP as a natural extension of their BI offerings. Others, such as Plumtree, Top Tier, and Viador, position themselves as almost pure play EIP vendors. At this early juncture no single vendor yet dominates the market. Survey respondents are selecting EIP solutions from Mircosoft, Broadvision, Top Tier, IBM, and a number of others.
