<< , the presentation must have went well? <roflol>>

Must have SFC. And the first question many of us ask

" Where's the money going to be coming from? "

would sure be the very first thing they would ask. So there must be a pretty definitive answer, or at the very least they remain comfortable with the various possible options.

Swamp Fox...

*beep, beep, beep*

This week's action has been extremely encouraging. Share-price has risen in a very orderly manner which, IMO, suggests accumulation by entities approximating investors...rather than daytraders and/or momentum players. For the stock to dream of approaching the levels you suggest, it'll take just this sort of sustained action.

I'd be happy to see a narrow trading range tomorrow (given the absence of news or events). It's already fairly clear that we're not going to see a wild run-up in anticipation of the upcoming tech roll-out, which suits me just fine. I'm fully expecting Bramson and Co. to deliver the goods and for the "delivery" thereof to portend either a rapid upward acceleration of shareprice, or a sustained, upward march fueled by new earnings from operations.

I'll take either.

Best,

Ron

Swamp:

I thought that the good Count's exchange on the lack of hoped for PR very important, so I pasted the postings below. I think he's right. Contrast this to last winter when we were getting press releases on Sunday night! Since then, Ampex has recruited very professional credentialized media / marketing people - yet we barely hear from them. There is an explanation and it should be forthcoming within a matter of weeks if not days.

Don't bicker. I've just received some

information that may explain why Bramson released such a great announcement yesterday, but failed to follow up with coverage in the the WSJ or other
publications. Bramson met with representatives of the big institutional AXC bondholders yesterday afternoon. Apparently, they were treated to a demonstration of
the new technology. Thus, Bramson had to release the tech announcement yesterday morning; otherwise, in effect, the bondholders would have been treated to
inside information. A similar meeting/demonstration is planned for next week for equity institutional holders. My conclusion from this is that Bramson needs the
support of the big money interests before he can make the grander PR moves. Therefore, I apologize to all regarding my comments for the ostensible failure to get
the word out more effectively. The Ampex bondholders have been the fuel for Ampex's new Internet engine and they have considerable influence over the
outcome. In the end, however, our interests are the same. So, if we do get that big WSJ article I've been asking for after next week, you will know the reason
why.

CAPTN: you ask how the tech demonstration was received by the bondholders. "Very impressive," "should be big" are some ways its been described.
WVBUILD: you ask if iSTLYE.com will be delayed until the equity institutional meeting next week. I don't know, but that would certainly appear to be the case
the way things have been handled so far.
It's clear that obtaining future financing for Ampex is a top priority, so Bramson must be excused if he appears to be avoiding the spotlight. Patience is the key, but
at least we have some reasons why now.

There's a good reason for no major PR .

This board still contains complaints about the lack of Ampex's self-promotion. These criticisms are understandable, but there is a very good
reason why Bramson is remaining relatively low key.
See messages nos. 31133 and 31143.
I will fill you in on the institutional equity meeting next week. I'd like to see this tech first hand, but if not,.... well, let's just say I have ways.
