I hear you on the clock..... I wonder if they have it fast so that if news breaks, anyone posting it on SI will not appear to be posting it prior to it happening.

Is it a legal strategy of avoiding anyone on SI from getting in trouble for an appearance of insider info.

NOT that SI would care about the posters especially, but any good litigating attorney would want to bring in GNET to any litigation,(as an intentional facilitator)

since GNET has deep pockets.

I don't esp. think this is the reason, but it's the best reason that they might have a motive to keep the clock fast.

unless , they just can not set their clock.
