That may be. I am more concerned with documentary matters, but I am not in a position to lay my hands on better material immediately, and used what I had. I am not in a position to independently verify everything, nor have I memorized chapter and verse, since it is not a hobby horse of mine. I believe Pat's Jewish defenders, including Michael Kinsley, when they say that they saw no evidence of a personal animus against Jews, and I am sure that he is not a closet Nazi. But I have been persuaded by various articles that I have read that he is anti- semitic in the sense of having an exaggerated sense of the power, influence, and solidarity of the Jews, and assuming ethnic antagonism and the singular pertinence of the charge of dual loyalty, as if Jews were more prone to favor Israel than the Irish to favor Ireland, or those of English descent to be Anglophiles.......
