Teflon,

One thing to keep in mind is that when it comes to the wireless markets, any established VC principal you talk to will tell you that they cannot make money investing in wireless hardware.

Agreed. As far as VCs go, very little hardware gets funded these days. I have been on the receiving end of that mindset. That being said, there are many component makers in the communications area that are making plenty of money - BRCM, PMCS, RFMD, CNXT to name a few. From a money making and growth standpoint, VARL is doing quite well.

I agree about the LMDS market. That may or may not happen for VARL. But all the growth is coming from Cellular wireless and fiberoptics communications. Their clients include Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung. The LMDS business is not factored into the growth business. It would be an added bonus if it ever happened.

Piyush

P.S. Teflon, if VARL is not appropriate for this thread because of the hardware components aspect, just say the word and I will drop it.
