If the disruptions will be contained far away (all the big suppliers of raw materials are not well prepared - Russia and Venezuela are conspicuous examples) then the market can still swallow the bitter news and cope. But if some disruptions are domestic then IMO it would be too much to be taken lightly and Ed Yardeni's views will be suddenly very popular. All it takes is sporadic nuclear reactors shut downs and some problems with crude oil supply and refineries, to make this winter a very cold one.
