Silicom Wins Two Projects in Sweden and Germany KFAR-SAVA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 6, 1999--Silicom Ltd. (NASDAQ: SILCF - news) today announced that the Company received a confirmation from Possio AB in Sweden, that a modified version of the Silicom Serial PC Card was approved to be used with the Possio PM80 GSM mobile fax and the Nokia 6090 GSM cellular Car Phone. The confirmation was accompanied with an initial order of 200 units for immediate delivery. Possio is a leading manufacturer of paper-based mobile communication products. The Possio mobile fax machine equipped with the Silicom PC Card enables mobile users of the Nokia 6090 GSM Cellular Car Phone to receive and print faxes and SMS messages on the go. ''We chose to use the Silicom solution due to the quality of products and the ability to customize the products to our specifications'', said Peter Kastberg, Possio's Marketing Director. ''The performance of the Silicom Serial Card meets our severe quality criteria. I am sure that both our product sets and our customers will benefit accordingly''. This project win in Sweden came in conjunction with another project win in Germany. Two prototypes of another specially modified version of the Company Serial PC Card were approved by Consel Kofferloesungen GmbH, a manufacturer of mobile-office integrated systems in Germany. This project was designed especially for Kabel Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG. Following this approval Silicom will deliver to the customer first shipment worth more than $US 100,000 until mid January 2000.
