michael: I was surprised you did not chime in last evening with a "painted tape analysis". It was weird the way such small amounts (for COMPAQ) should have had such an effect.
It made me suspicious that there was an announcement coming - I would not have thought the Future Link annoucement was that big a deal but I honestly dont know. I think the acquisiton of a distributor (or distributor- like assets) will be a big deal because it will stir up a lot of interest and generally confirm a vague feeling that COMPAQ is getting a grip of its costs.

Michael, the first 1/2 point hardly counts. After hours trading ranged from 25 1/8 to 26 1/8. Hope we can move on past 28 this week.
