Q #2: how to AND HAVE THE SIMPLE MEANS TO weigh gold accurately and in the troy system? Q #3: how to determine gold's price without a newspaper or TV or internet cited quote?? Q #4: the gold's KARAT language? Q #5: how to do the math to arrive at any gold's karat value and weight and price variable combinations in exchange for future goods or services? ole 49r, I will greatly appreciate it if you would be so good as to give the answers to your quiz questions above. I am very interested to know the answers. I am sure there are others who are just as interested/curious to know but maybe they are too shy/embarrassed to ask. To show you I have done at least some homework, I found there are ~31 grams in a troy ounce and 0.200 gram = 1 karat/carat, and of course, there are 453.6 grams to a pound.
