Just received my CMGI 1999 Annual Report yesterday from SCH and it's quite impressive. On page 18 it states in bold letters "CMGI recognizes that the history and future of the Web are inextricably tied to the notion of community. Indeed, the Web is itself a community of communities created and fully dedicated to bringing geographically disparate people together to share experience, emotion and knowledge".
