Yaacov,
RE:"So, if I sell INTC, I don't know what to buy! Kind regards, yaacov"

Take a look at GLW, Corning glass. The stock was depressed for years because of breast implant lawsuits but that's been resolved. They are heavy into fiber optic cable and flat panel displays. The stock is heading up... under heavy accumulation.

Yaacov,

Hi again. LA temp is still in golf range <g>

I look at the stock based on its performance, year to year. Some times, great companies, such as INTC and MSFT, loose their luster

First, take a look at this chart:

beta.siliconinvestor.com

Over the last 52 weeks: INTC +28% MSFT +37%

Both have been higher to new all time highs and have backed off from there. Every time that has happened in the past, both have gone through those old highs to make new ones. Just because the stock trades in a range for months and months does not mean the Intel paradigm has changed. In fact, it seems to me to be situation normal and full speed ahead. Intel's financial performance will tell the tale and I'm confident that this quarter will set records.

This is the chart I really like:

We'll see how the Internuts do after a few more quarters of humongous losses.
