Bux You just said what I meant. I was trying to say that there might well be spectrum use constraints in cellular that PCS does not have, since PCS is relatively new and built all digital from scratch. Again don't pretend to be an expert on this by a long shot. Perhaps one of those who is, such as engineer or Clark will help clarify. And in fact perhaps one or both have already and I missed it. (Though must admit they have my careful attention when they post since I find their contributions very valuable to understanding the technologies of the Q). Best. Chaz
