My system is showing RT quotes, but the tick is trailing the bid and ask by about two points- ex.- tick now is 231 1/4,
bid is 232 5/8 ask 232 11/16 (12:21 pm)- it was trailing by
two points a few minutes ago. Is it just my system?

Don't worry, this is the cause:

changes in index weighting for Canadian indexes. JDSU trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange (JDU.to) and figures in two large market indexes, the "S&P TSE 60 Midcap" and the "TSE 100". Keep in mind that these adjustments are over as of this morning so watch the stock go up now.

The following is the Dow Jones news release:

Toronto Exch To Cut JDS Uniphase Weighting In Indexes

DJ Toronto Exch To Cut JDS Uniphase Weighting In Indexes

TORONTO (Dow Jones)--The Toronto Stock Exchange said that, effective
before the open Thursday, the relative weight of JDS Uniphase Canada Ltd. will
be changed in the TSE 300 Composite,
S&P/TSE MidCap and the TSE 100 Indexes.
In a news release, the TSE said the relative weight of JDS Uniphase
Canada Ltd. will decrease by about 0.67% in the TSE 300 Composite Index, 3.71%
in the S&P/TSE MidCap and 0.77% in the TSE 100 Index.

It said the relative weight change reflects an update to the float shares of
JDS Uniphase Canada Ltd. Changes to the indices are in accordance with TSE 300
Composite Index Maintenance Policies, it noted.

Greg,
How much of this sharp drop can be attributed to general market weakness today? What do you think about the markets
overall- are they acting toppy? Tons of volume and a flat line yesterday, even more volume and a down day today-
does that sound like distribution? Thinking about boats and tides and ahaha's post...!

Greg -

220 is the key for me. I am sitting. But one has to question the whole recovery we just had, droping 16 points is not the sign of strong holders.

4 weeks ago, the stock had never closed above 200.
Your 220 is 10% above that. Todays close is over 20% above that. What the heck are you complaining about? Do you have a problem with 20 percent returns in 4 weeks? Why don't you just sell JDSU and go play in dot com land.

William
