OT OT OT Marc, I'm trying to add some more OEX puts today.

Take a look at todays transports and utilities. Both in full fledged bear markets.

The NYSE specialist are now all heavily heavily short while individual investors are heavily long. I wonder who is going to win that one. Big money is now selling heavily into the rallies.

Very dangerous market, here, very dangerous.

OT... OT
Marc... I have not bought puts as I can not on Datek and have no options experience anyway... However, the NAZ from 11/26 to 12/7 surged ahead in value, but this run has not been confirmed by the MACD which peaked again (a lower high) on 12/7 (the MACD has been falling away since 11/26 while the NAZ continues to set new highs) setting up the start of a bearish divergance... It looks clear and strong to me and the 30 minute chart is in a down trend right now... so I am betting we surge again (for one or two more reversals on the 30 minute chart) while continuing to have the MACD fall away (daily) seting up a correction in the Jan to Feb time frame... I am going to adjust my portfolio in January (early) to reflect this assumption. It is at this point that I hope the new millenium begins with a recognition of the value in basic materials - making a reality the SlideMonster's "Rotation" - remember in stock selection for value plays the three most important factors are:
1. Rotation
2. Rotation
3. Rotation

And there aint no rotating going on now, except for my guts as I watch this sector in horror...
