Nowhere near top for value stocks: each has its own life, bargains galore right now in many sectors; specialty retail, oil service, LOR, disc drives, INTEL, XRX. Some stocks which have not participated are near recent lows, including all of the above plus LE and TYC obviously on bad news. Yes if I owned Linux stocks (which I still did) I'd take my profits now but this remains a sector rotating stock-picking market. For instance drug stocks were a bargain yesterday. I got got a quick 3 points on JNJ. Would hold but want to clear some cash just in case some even better bargain comes along. Software stocks are rallying today (mostly) but there are bargains there as well like TSK and DLTK. The recent rallies have not valued every stock equally. There remain many great buys (and holds) in my opinion. This afternoon's sell-off good for the market. Should base and resume next week. Tomorrow might bring more bargains.
