Any recommendations on high yield fixed income funds or products? Part of my portfolio needs to be shifted from stocks to fixed income (asset rebalancing). I've been recommended First Australia (FAX-trades on ASE), which yields 11.5%. Thanks, Jonathan

It is a mite ironic to call his fund a "value" fund when his two largest holdings over the past 4 or 5 years have been AOL and DELL. Then again, I suppose he would say that he saw the "value" in them.

Wally: Glad to see he likes Bank One. I agree as you might gather from my previous posts. Nice fat 5% dividend. El cheapo. Lower interest rate environment next year at some point. Possible acquisition candidate with that season beginning next year. Get it done before pooling of interests goes good bye. But it can run on its own. Hey, it even has internet banking unit in wingspan.com. Analysts meeting within the next 30 - 60 days. Right at the bottom here and $32 and change. May go lower when it goes x-dividend. Load the freakin' boat.
