FOR AUTHENTIDATE.COM

NEW YORK, Dec 9, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- AuthentiDate.com(TM)
(BitWise Designs) (Nasdaq: BTWS) today announced that it is in the beta
development stage of a software developer kit (SDK) that will give
developers a complete set of stamping and account maintenance tools to
interact with the Internet based AuthentiDate.com(TM) service.

The SDK module is now available on a full range of platforms, including
Red Hat(R), Inc.'s (Nasdaq: RHAT), Linux Operating System (Nasdaq:
LNUX) and requires only a dial-up or persistent Internet connection.
AuthentiDate(TM) also plans the expansion of its hardware platform by
adding a series of clustered web servers running RedHat Linux 6.2.

"Due to the recent development of AuthentiDate International, we want
to ensure the same reliability and accessibility to AuthentiDate.com
that we currently have", said Matthew J. Dye, of Shore Venture Group,
LLC, developers of AuthentiDate.com(TM) and ReverseBid.com(TM). By
adding these new servers with Linux as the operating system,
AuthentiDate.com(TM) will be ready for the anticipated growth in usage
and page visits attributed to AuthentiDate International(TM)," added
Dye.

Software developers everywhere will now have the necessary tools to
easily implement an Intranet or Internet based AuthentiDate solution.
With this solution seamlessly integrated into a corporate network,
companies can keep their users inside the corporate network without
limiting the usage, feature availability or benefits of the
AuthentiDate web based technology.

"This is a key part of our strategy for making AuthentiDate and its
related technology a standard on the Internet", stated John T. Botti,
President and CEO of BitWise Designs and Chairman of AuthentiDate.com.
"Now the technology can be directly integrated into other companies
applications," added Botti.

Any third party developed application that desires to AuthentiDate a
document, email, or fax will be able to it automatically. Only the
AuthentiDate digital signature will be transmitted to the AuthentiDate
secure server. The company's critical information need never leave
their premises.
