I'd like the stock to HOLD 243 (13 day MA), if possible. I'll accept a small violation, but not a sustained one. Midpoint on the BB is 226...which we held today.

Just maybe the Street is thinking that no one wants to take profits before the split and year 2000 - that would be a hefty tax consequence for many long-term holders. Therefore, they can shake the trees without impunity. There was a decline in JDSU going into the last split and post split if I recall correctly.
