I agree with this. But there is absolutely nothing going on with Intel which would cause the whole sector to melt down like today. No warning, no downgrades etc. Intel is suffering the death of 1,000 cuts right now, but nothing big enough IMO to attribute today to.
Tech investors have gotten so greedy and spoiled that a little pause in the upward trajectory makes them look for a scapegoat. And I will admit to being a little touchy when I hear an AMD investor whine about a 2 dollar pullback when their stock has doubled in the last month. Watching Intel go down while everything else seems to be going up is no fun. It gives me a better appreciation for what AMD investors have gone through for so long, NO SLAM INTENDED.
