why does the only analyst who follows idc see ever decreasing profits going forward? think a pe of around 10 too high? do they have same patents as qcom, or is b-cdma just fluff? very curious as it is a company quite near to my home...

Your information is at least 6 months old regarding CPQ's offerings. CPQ's current products are nothing like what you describe - they are 11 MBps IEEE 802.11b DSSS products which are equivalent to 10 MB Ethernet. The products you were describing were the old digital products from 1996. The new generation CPQ products have been on the market since August.
