Brad: I am 95% sure the company I am referring to is WCG rather than some other, privately held "Williams."

I live in S. New England. During the later part of July, I noticed surveyers on the road I live. After a few days they were at the bottom of my drive, standing by a police officer. I walked down and asked the officer why they were surveying. He said, "To lay fiber optic cable." Rather excited, given we do not have the cable where I live, I asked when we would be getting it.

Well, it turns out the cable is just being laid through this area. According to the fellow from the survey team, "Williams," was going to laying cable from Boston to somewhere in GA and the company he works for had received the contract [from Williams] to survey the route.

To the best of my knowledge, none of the cable has as yet been laid.

Sorry, this is all I know.
