Jeff: Some outfit whose name ended in ix maybe Globix said they would call me back in 2 months. The rest just tell me some time in the future. They say it takes a relatively few number of lines to offset the cost of the equipment. I guess it is pretty lucrative but not for RBOC's who already get 50 bucks/mo for my 2 lines. For the CLEC it looks like a winner dpending on what tariff they have to pay for the leased lines. As I said it is all am matter of econ 101. JFD

Jeff,
I noticed the following comment from the ninth:
"I found out that my place also has a "DLC" shack for muxing phone lines back to the CO. The great news is it uses equipment from Pair Gain."

Would you mind telling me which ILEC or CLEC had Pairgain equipment?
I am trying to trace some of Pair's unannounced contracts.
Thanks
