Hi, Carolyn!

This is better than a Christmas office party! Here we can party for days, say nice things to one another that we somehow meant to say all year, not worry about saying something stupid in front of a superior, and kick back and have fun. We can remind ourselves that some of the disagreements are only disagreements and take the time to have a laugh and some eggnog together. We can even send personal greetings to people we've encountered mostly on stock threads, where it might not be appropriate to say, "Gee, I really like you!"

We can make this thread as special and as different as we wish....

While on the subject of wishes, I send you my very best wishes and look forward to getting to know you better in the new year!

Hi, Edwarda! Is this like a Christmas office party?,

Egad, I hope not. At least not like the Christmas parties I used to go to, which made frat parties look civilized!
