Drew, I think you're being naive. When Dell tanked in 1997 management responded by repricing options. The practice of repricing is widespread. Look at IBM, NETA, PSFT, SEG ... the list goes on and on.

Look at it this way. Had Rollins been paid $53 MM in cash the company would have achieved a tax savings of $18.55 MM.
