Tony, I agree with you there. AMD should be as open as possible. After all do they think the server makers will not find them? Of course they will. they will run test suites of enormous complexity in the hopes of finding such errors prior to the bet of the farm. there should be a public data base for all to post such errata for assorted processors...if you can trust people? Of course, does Intel post them all? just those that get 'outed' by others?
AMD is only now getting to this lofty arean and will have to
adapt to those rules. In general I have not heard of many errta in AMD parts? Is this because all errata are arcane stuff that most people never see?
