I don't think you have it right with EBAY. Look at the stats and you will see that they have the highest traffic on the web this month according to the WSJ, they have just rolled out local cities that YHOO hasn't even touched yet. Look at AMZN today and you will see that just because a stock languishes is not always indicative that it will keep doing that. The patient investors will win out when one of those dumb analysts have to come out and set some high target price for people to jump in. Smart ones buy now before all of that. Quiet stocks are the best to buy because you have time to accumulate shares while everyone else is chasing the stocks flying now. I can't tell you how many times I've seen this happen with stocks only to find out later they move when least expected. LCOS did it, YHOO did it 2 years ago, remember XCIT last December. This is nothing new.
