It means they are building up supplies in the channel, and when the processors are announced, there will be simultaneous availability of systems on the market. The best part about this news is that it will probably increase yields of lower MHz processors - should allow dropping prices in the lower frequencies - in order to keep Athlon in its place (assuming of course AMD is unable to deliver a comparable speed product in the same time frame).
