I bought PTIX for 16 3/4 on 8/13/97 and sold for 25 on 9/11/97. There have been two 3-2 splits since then. You can see I left money on the table short-term, and would have done OK long-term if I had just held.

But there were new 50% stocks to go out and conquer. Not to mention the October 1997 crash that wiped out my rookie gains for the year.

We all start somewhere.
