Hi!!

RE: just noticed a news item on cnet.com regarding- Samsung says it will double rambus RDRAM production by Feb to meet growing demand. Samsung is the largest producer of rambus chips. I seem to remember that Dell had an agreement with rambus to buy about 3/4 of their chips? Does that mean that Dell's production of expensive machines using rambus chips will be exploding by the first few months of 2000? What do you think?

Yes...believe that TigerPaw addressed this prior to the end of the last qt. No question that this was one of the landmines that DELL stepped on last qt. Michael spoke very highly of this during a speech he made last Spring...His excitement with bandwidth and the new adoptions it will bring was great to read about...Hopefully this architecture will be pushing through DELL products soon..

Best, Kemble
