>> Has it ever occurred to you that maybe - just maybe - this is the enabling technology which cannot be valued by yesterdays standards...??? Maybe the conventional valuation models do not hold...?

Happy,

there have always been "enabling technologies" and they always eventually end up at a "reasonable valuation" based on earnings. We could be having this conversation decades ago and you could be saying that "everybody will have a radio!!" And you'd be right! Everybody does have a radio!

I think Warren Buffet noted that there were over 100 auto makers earlier this century. How many people picked the survivors?

It's not about "enabling technologies," it's about sustainable and increasing earnings which justify a market valuation.

Happy, when you hear "conventional valuation models do not hold," it's time to short, sell, laugh, or all three.

>> How will you turn back the clock for yourself and your kids ???

hmm...not sure how to take that one! I bought Amazon, Yahoo, qwest and a few others at their IPO's or shortly after. Held and added for a long time. Did fine. I very happily "left the party early."

My clock's fine.

By the way, were you the person who shouted "Cicso's on sale!"?

Let's see...(all figures Yahoo Finance at the close...)

PE = 172. book value = $3.57. Market cap = 334 Billion

I could go on. Big sale! whew...
