What do you think of Microsoft's prospects at this point? It's odd to see them doing so well, and have their stock stand still. Do you agree, they'll turn in an awesome quarter financially once again?

I actually bought msft Jan calls a few days ago... but I don't know, msft didn't get any benefit from this weeks upside in the other software. Maybe its going to take a deal with the DOJ or a statement from msft to make the stock break 100. I'm not going to buy anymore calls because its too random... and frustrating to watch too.

Theres a lot of talk about linux but I actually think msft's biggest problem is the cheap office clones out there... Word is really becoming bloatware for general use (writing memos etc.) and thats all I use it for... and an occasional resume. But msft's enterprise offerings are shaping up and the web stuff looks good apparently. I bought the calls because msft has been too flat for too long when all these other companies have doubled or tripled.

I'll look at ratl, don't know them really.
