The only problem I see in Samsung being the buyer is that they have huge, cheap Korean capacity, they are already a great partner, and they are not having any problems making or selling phones. What's in it for Samsung?

But doesn't Samsung want to reduce QCOM's hold on ASIC to the point of developing themselves? Why get more in bed, when you are looking to play the field more?
