Other notes from the interview. Some soon to be announced customers for VTT devices. Hand held devices that connect to the PC and internet are at the same place that cell phones were 8 or 9 years ago. MicroOS acts as a traffic cop on devices with multiple functions. They see a huge market developing right now and going on for several years. It is their goal to get off the Bulletin Boards and on to the Nasdaq as soon as possible. They believe that with their announced and soon to be announced relationships and in the industries they are involved with it will happen. What shareholders and people looking at the company are waiting for is acceptance of MicroOS and more involvement into products as they come to market. We will see that in the year 2000. As to competitors, they are the only company that they are aware of that has a pure software flash file management system. They plan to leverage their relationships with Lucent, IBM and Intel. All of these companies have been very supportive and have opened many doors. Lanier verbally stated that they expect $6 to $10 million annualized for the first product. Then there are follow on's to this first product and then there are other products they can be building for them. The Lanier recorder has been a great 'calling card' for EDIG. The recorder is chock full of technology and no one else has ever built anything like this and is one of the reasons they are getting these other companies knocking on their door to utilize their services. MicroOS is very important when a device has multiple functions or that uses multiple compression formats or multiple speech to text algorithims in a single device. Without the MicroOS, a proprietary hardware solution must be used which makes it bigger, more expensive and eats more batteries. There are currently 15 engineers working at the company. Mark
