Addendum to previous note:

I believe moves like you have just seen are major shorting by one or more mutual funds through Instinet. The shorts move the price down for more attractive buying points where shorts are covered and long buys begin. The good news is that this appears to be completed for this go round. The afternoon reversal appeared to be a good one. But, the guy doing the shorting has the power to make me wrong -- hopefully the shorts are banking their profits and ready to make a few bucks on the up side. This stock is a good one to hold for years. Patience with a high quality company like Semtech will produce a bunch of rich investors, IMHO. Continue the patience, we should see 60 soon, IMHO.
