Can't imagine why download again, I bet you saw the Welcome to Qcharts workspace. It should still be there.

Qcharts has 10s of sample workspaces. Just go to file/open workspace, then pick one, try Welcome to Qcharts, that is what you probally saw, but look at a few, get some ideas. imagine what you want to see in front of you. change window sizes or use the menu item Windows/tile to fill space.

Go to a quote sheet in display, right click in box go to Symbols/import symbol list, now look at all the pre-made lists, pick one. it now replaces everything in the quote sheet with a new list.

Try a few. You see a sym file need be only a column of symbols, you can go to windows notepad and type in all your favorite stocks and "save as" a mylist.sym file. now you can save it in the symbols directory and you can call it into any quotesheet.

Remember you can expand your workspace beyond the screen size by dragging elements to the side or down, this allows you to have a number of screens in one workspace that you navigate by scroll bars.

Only save the workspaces you like after you change them. Do it under another name if you want to keep samples as they are. This weekend just play with it. set it up like you want it.
