Paul I don't believe anyone that follows AMD cringes when discussing Dell. We all pretty much agree that Dell is an Intel clone and will not stray from the fold. On the other hand the Intel heavy hand that has held others in is clearly beginning to break and all that you say on this thread won't change that fact. AMD now has very competitive processors that people want to buy and you and the other fudders can't change that fact. I have talked to many computer store execs recently and they all tell me that Athlons are selling as fast as they can get them in and that PIIIs aren't selling well at all. Intel has finally screwed itself with its recent actions with Gateway and the motherboard fiasco and will be paying the piper in the future because of it.
