IMHO should we experience a y2k moderate disruption scenario companies with cash will have an easier time of it than those without. Should that scenario prove moderate to severe the likely survivors will be companies with cash and low to no debt.

I think your boss is a right smart man or woman.

Companies squandering loan money on share buy backs at this point will be very sorry. (They should at least fund their contingency fantasies first <g>.)
