Even with confirmations, you can't trust them.
I had yet another occasion of the "trade reversal after a confirmation" saga. (This time a Sell Short that I cancelled and received a cancel confirmation).

I got news of the reversal after market open the next day.
Now I've got twice as much short as I wanted.
And barely have equity to cover it.
(if they move it to the 50% or 100% list I'm screwed).
